abstract = "By the year of 2002, Cerrado biome has suffered a loss of 54.9% of
its original area due to deforestation and human action. National
Park of Chapada dos Veadeiros Influence Region (RIPNCV), situated
north of the state of Goias and 240 km from Bras{\'{\i}}lia is
an important expansion area of modern agriculture, been one of the
main economic actions responsible for the biomes loss. In order to
better understand the local dynamic, the aim of this study was
developing, through geoprocessing techniques, an analysis over
usage and land cover at RIPNCV and also detection changes. The
main phases of the analyses were: data collection, Landsat image
collection, image processing, usage and land cover classification
methods and change detection via cross tabulation. The observed
years were 1984, 2000 and 2015. From the data gathered through the
mapping it has been observed that the anthropic coverage sharply
increased; in 1984, it represented 17,4 %, raising up to 32,43% of
the total area in 2015. Such variation representsa loss of 231.058
ha of natural vegetation. In a broad manner, natural coverage
classes have suffered a steady decline in between the analysed
years. Taking into account that farming actions have directly
compromised the loss of local biodiversity and populationslife
                         quality.",
